How to download From RAPIDSHARE
I made a quick video to show you how to download from rapidshare as most of the links on the site will lead you to there so you must know how to download!
After you click a link, you will be taken to a redirection site where you will have to click some text usually saying continue to download or something similar.
Once you click through the redirection site you will find yourself at the following page.....
Follow what you see on screen and you will get your file downloaded.

If you are confused or have any problems then do not feel embarrassed, just leave a comment and I will advise and help you work it out.

How can I download "preludes of greatness" (Bowie)

Hmm that is the way I used to post the links in the early days. did you happen to look at the date of the post you got those from??!!
I really cannot keep re-uploading things I'm afraid. Those must be posted from 2005 I think cos I don't post the links that way any longer. It used to be to try and hide the links a bit, make them last longer but it doesn't matter these days so I stopped doing it.
the actual links from those would be:
http://rapidshare.com/files/3418765/ludes.part1.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/3419087/ludes.part2.rar
In case you find any other old links you will be able to reconstruct them by looking at these:
The [RS] means you need to write
http://rapidshare.com/files/
then the number needs to be put in place after that,
http://rapidshare.com/files/3418765/with a forward slash, then the last part-the filename
http://rapidshare.com/files/3418765/ludes.part1.rar
None of those work any more unfortunately but that is how to reconstruct the links mate.

i can't seem to download longwave there's a fire i tried putting this url in but the site says the file couldn't be found: http://www.rapidshare.com/files/6995422/inferno.rar
Sorry but rapidshare is just telling you that because they deleted it after it wasn't downloaded for a certain amount of time.
The link has expired.
I cannot reupload it either as I don't have it any more I'm afraid.

hey, great site! i've downloaded the first part of the raconteurs performance at leeds (2006) and i've tried to unzip it using WinZip, i entered the correct password but it keeps telling me to "Please insert the disk containing "users\john\Desktop...blah blah blah file locatio....RacLeed06.rar" into drive C:"
im not all that computer savvy so any help to open it and not have to download it again would be fantastic!

As you know now, I replied to your email. Just for anyone else who isn't sure about rar files...
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD ALL PARTS OF A MULTI RAR FILE SET OF FILES IN ORDER TO OPEN THEM AND GET THE FILE OUT!
Downloading part one of something will not really let you do much with the files inside as the files are split across the whole set of rar files if there are a few like part01.rar, part02.rar etc. You need ALL of them!!!
